Tonight is my Monday. It's going to take a while to get use to the graveyard shifts again, but I really think I'm going to enjoy doing the work. I have been able to think while at work and get some story idea's out while doing the stocking.
It sucks that I have to start out at the bottom of the totem pole again, but it's also nice not having to worry about all the other things at work. Right now I can go in and do my job and just go home. It's nice and I don't worry about work while I'm off.
We will not be moving after all. We crunched some numbers and yes, we could afford it, but it would be tight. Josh has decided to move back to Arkansas and we don't' want to have to struggle with anything. Where we are at now we know we can afford it, and yes it's only 200.00 more than what we are paying here currently, it will be tight with me changing jobs and everything. Just don't want to chance it. Like Trish said, "After we are in our jobs for a bit and if its open again we can go to the bank and get a loan and have cheaper payments." That is so true, because I don't know his interest rates, but the monthly payment there will be $797.00 per month and I know people who's paying that on a $150,000.00 home, not a trailer and 1 parcel of land.
Life is good though, we don't want to overextend ourselves. Trish is going to start painting this place in the next few days since we don't have to worry about coming up with another down payment and I'm getting checks from both places.
This a place for me to share my stories with others. I write in a variety of genre, but mainly horror/suspence, with a bit of fantasy mixed in. After reading one of the stories below, please leave a comment and let me know you dropped by. So, pull up a chair, refill that coffee, and dive right in. You never know where a story will take you. Keep checking back, you just never know what you might find...
